Tengzhou Eye – Tengzhou’s first circular flyover

Located at the intersection of Shanguo Road and Jinghe Road in our city, the circular overpass is not only novel in design and very modern, which greatly relieves the traffic pressure, but also is another high-quality project for three-dimensional steel structure to participate in the design and construction.

The design scheme of the circular pedestrian sky is bold and innovative, and it is very modern. The upper part adopts a steel box girder structure, with a large span of 36.8 meters, the bridge deck is 5 meters wide, and a total of 8 stairways are set up at the four corners, especially the roof is added on the “ring” shaped main bridge, which not only has a beautiful shape, but also shades the sun and shelters from the rain, highlighting the humanized functional design.

The innovative design of the bridge is that once completed, pedestrians can go up and down from the eight openings of the bridge to any intersection they want, which is both safe and fast. At the same time, our company also canalizes the overpass and installs isolation guardrails between the roadway and the sidewalk, and takes closure measures for the intersection under the bridge, so as to realize the three-dimensional traffic system of separation of people and vehicles and non-interference with each other.

In terms of the design concept, the flyover fully combines the local cultural elements of Tengzhou, with beautiful shape and high practicality. The bridge is 10.5 meters high, the bridge deck is 5 meters wide, and the stairway is 3 meters wide. During the construction process, Sanwei Steel Structure and Tengzhou Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development actively coordinated with various departments, strengthened construction supervision, solved various problems encountered in the construction process, and ensured that each construction process had a detailed plan to ensure the high-quality completion of the project.
